Rotating Equipment Application Engineer

Role and Responsibilities :

1) Proficiency in Design & Development of Power Generating Sets (Domestic, Export, Institutional), Engine Peripherals, Air Intake Systems, Fuel Systems, Exhaust and EGT Systems, Cooling Package, Shock Mounts and Canopy - Base Frame.

2) Proficient in design, Structural Layout, GA Drawing such as 2D drawing, 3D models

3) Detailed engineering drawings & Bill of Material for complete DG Set and associated customer / user interfaces.

4) Proficient in 3D CAD software – CREO, AutoCAD, in product assembly, solid parametric modelling, detailing.

5) Good Genset peripheral systems and sub-systems knowledge, Conversant with functioning.

6) Conversant with design metrics & analysis of Cooling Package, Fuel Systems, Air Intake Systems, Base frame, Shock & Vibrations, Exhaust Systems and after treatment, FEA etc

7) End-to-end development of engineering products right from analysis to VAVE optimisation analysis, solutions.

8) Conversant with national / international codes & standards such as IS, ANSI, ASME, ISO, BS, IEC & SAE

9) Product data management software like Windchill and IMS

10) Knowledge of Govt Sector - Customer Specifications technical compliance, Tendering

11) Preparation of Acceptance test procedures, Quality Acceptance Procedures, preparation and execution of DVP&R

12) Good Analytical & Problem solving skills
