Role Overview
The Corporate AI Strategist will play a pivotal role in shaping BGSW’s AI-first future by defining, measuring, and advancing AI maturity across the enterprise. Unlike function-specific AI strategist roles (e.g., in HR, Finance, or Operations), this position is enterprise-wide and horizontal, ensuring AI strategy, governance, and maturity frameworks are consistently applied across all value streams.
This role combines strategic foresight, technical expertise, and consulting acumen to align AI adoption with organizational priorities, embed AI into business and operating models, and drive sustainable, responsible AI-enabled transformation.
Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy & Governance
Define and refine the corporate AI strategy in alignment with business and operating model transformation.
Establish enterprise AI governance frameworks that ensure consistency across functional AI initiatives.
Develop ethical AI guidelines and compliance practices to support responsible adoption.
Translate AI strategic intent into actionable roadmaps with clear metrics and business outcomes.
AI Maturity Measurement & Consulting
Design, institutionalize, and evolve an AI Maturity Framework covering all value streams.
Provide structured consultation to leadership teams to accelerate AI adoption and maturity progression.
Publish and communicate periodic AI maturity insights that guide corporate priorities.
Enablement & Ecosystem Building
Drive enterprise-wide AI literacy and capability development programs.
Identify, evaluate, and scale AI / ML and GenAI business cases across multiple functions.
Partner with technology, business, and talent leaders to transform AI pilots into enterprise-scale solutions.
Act as a change catalyst, embedding AI-first ways of working into culture and processes.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating AI opportunities into business value.
Build strong partnerships across business, technology, and talent functions to accelerate adoption.
Ensure alignment of AI strategy with workforce readiness and organizational design.
Qualifications
Educational qualification :
Master’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Data Science, AI / ML, Business Analytics, or related fields.
Executive education in business strategy or leadership preferred.
Experience :
12+ years of overall experience, with at least 7–10 years in AI, digital transformation, or consulting.
Proven track record in measuring AI maturity and driving enterprise-level AI adoption.
Demonstrated ability to define and execute AI / ML business cases at scale.
Exposure to industrial AI, engineering services, or manufacturing contexts is an advantage.
Technical & Strategic Competencies
Deep understanding of AI / ML technologies, platforms, and enterprise impact models.
Familiarity with cloud AI platforms (Azure AI, AWS Sagemaker, Google Vertex AI).
Awareness of GenAI applications for productivity, knowledge management, and innovation.
Strong grasp of AI governance, ethics, and compliance frameworks.
Skilled in executive communication, consulting, and stakeholder management.
Leadership & Personal Attributes

Strong facilitator with experience working across functions, geographies, and organizational layers.
