Lead Java Developer (5-8 years / FinTech)

About the role :

Lead the design and hands-on development of backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and MySQL. The role involves owning modules end-to-end — from requirement analysis to production delivery — with focus on quality, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct technical assessments (e.g., VRA, security checklists) required by new BFSI clients.
• Design and develop backend components and REST APIs using Spring Boot.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code.
• Design database schemas and write optimized SQL queries in MySQL.
• Review code and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Work with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver stable releases.
• Troubleshoot issues in development and production environments.
• Mentor junior developers and help improve overall code quality.
