Were looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a total of 6+ years of experience in system engineering / DevOps, with 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructure. Youll work at the intersection of development and operations to streamline our deployment pipelines, enhance system reliability, and scale our infrastructure using modern DevOps tools and practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Cloud Infrastructure : Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, networking) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- CI / CD Pipelines : Build, manage, and optimize CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Automation : Automate software provisioning, configuration, and deployments using Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Containerization : Create and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting : Monitor systems and application performance, troubleshoot issues, and fine-tune performance for reliability and cost-efficiency.
- Collaboration : Work closely with developers, QA, and operations to integrate DevOps practices across the software development lifecycle.
- Security : Implement and enforce DevSecOps practices including IAM, network policies, encryption, and secure CI / CD workflows.
- CDN Management : Design and maintain Akamai CDN infrastructure for optimized content delivery.
- Threat Mitigation : Implement and manage security layers against DDoS, WAF, and other web threats.
- Tooling & Innovation : Continuously evaluate and implement new DevOps tools and trends to improve operational efficiency.
- Documentation : Maintain up-to-date documentation and SOPs for all DevOps processes and systems.
What Were Looking For :
Total Experience : 6+ years in system administration, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles.Cloud Experience : Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Strong background in Linux systems, server configuration, and troubleshooting.Deep understanding of web protocols TCP / IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL, etc.Experience in performance optimization caching, compression, image optimization, etc.Solid experience with DevOps tools Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.Familiarity with CDN security, WAFs, and DDoS protection mechanisms.Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.(ref : hirist.tech)
