Senior Manager - Business Development Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Manager Business Development to lead our growth initiatives across South India. The role requires a strong domain background in natural stones, marble, or large-format tiles, with a proven ability to drive business expansion, build strategic partnerships, and lead high-performing regional Growth & Business Development

  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities across Karnataka and neighboring states.
  • Develop and execute business strategies aligned with the companys growth objectives.
  • Drive revenue expansion through project sales, channel partnerships, and key account Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and developers.
  • Represent the brand at exhibitions, trade shows, and industry networking Deliver tailored solutions that align with customer requirements and market trends.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and emerging opportunities in the natural stone and building materials sector.
  • Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing regional sales and business development team.
  • Set performance goals, track outcomes, and ensure achievement of sales targets.
  • Foster a collaborative, performance-driven culture across the business development function.
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • Education : MBA / PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management.
  • Experience : Minimum 10+ years in business development, sales, or project sales within marble, natural stone, or building materials industries.
  • Proven track record in managing and expanding business operations across South India.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and client management skills.
  • Proficiency in regional South Indian languages is highly preferred.
