Senior Manager - Business Development Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Manager Business Development to lead our growth initiatives across South India. The role requires a strong domain background in natural stones, marble, or large-format tiles, with a proven ability to drive business expansion, build strategic partnerships, and lead high-performing regional Growth & Business Development
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities across Karnataka and neighboring states.
- Develop and execute business strategies aligned with the companys growth objectives.
- Drive revenue expansion through project sales, channel partnerships, and key account Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and developers.
- Represent the brand at exhibitions, trade shows, and industry networking Deliver tailored solutions that align with customer requirements and market trends.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
Monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and emerging opportunities in the natural stone and building materials sector.Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing regional sales and business development team.Set performance goals, track outcomes, and ensure achievement of sales targets.Foster a collaborative, performance-driven culture across the business development function.Qualifications & Experience
Education : MBA / PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management.Experience : Minimum 10+ years in business development, sales, or project sales within marble, natural stone, or building materials industries.Proven track record in managing and expanding business operations across South India.Strong leadership, negotiation, and client management skills.Proficiency in regional South Indian languages is highly preferred.(ref : iimjobs.com)
