We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented person - (Manager) to drive and manage our business operations on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal along with CPC & CSD Channel India, specifically within the Consumer Electronics segment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the GeM platform, government procurement processes, and the consumer electronics market landscape. This role is crucial for scaling our presence and profitability in the government and institutional sector.
Your responsibilities will include :
GeM Platform & Business Development
- Strategic Growth : Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to maximize sales, market share, and revenue growth within the Consumer Electronics category on the GeM portal.
- Tender Management : Monitor, analyze, and strategically bid on relevant GeM tenders, including Bunch Bids, Reverse Auctions, Custom Bids , and Normal Bids , ensuring strict adherence to all tender terms and conditions and maximizing win rate.
- Product Catalog Management : Oversee the end-to-end listing, cataloging, and timely updation of all consumer electronics products (e.G., Laptops, Desktops, Printers, Monitors, Televisions, and related IT Hardware) with accurate specifications, competitive pricing, and compliance certifications on the GeM portal.
- Compliance & Documentation : Ensure absolute compliance with all GeM rules, policies, and regulations. Manage the collection, verification, and timely submission of all necessary documentation (e.G., OEM Authorization letters, Technical Specifications, Compliance Certificates like BIS, BEE Star Rating, ISI Mark ).
- Market Intelligence : Track competitor activities, pricing strategies, and new product listings on the GeM platform to maintain a competitive edge.
Institutional Stakeholder Management & Sales
Client Relationship : Act as the primary Point of Contact ( POC ) for all Government buyers (Central / State Ministries, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies) on the GeM platform, building strong, long-term relationships.Order to Cash Cycle : Take complete ownership of the sales process from order placement on GeM ( CRAC generation) to final payment realization, coordinating all internal steps.Coordination : Liaise effectively with internal Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and Technical teams to ensure seamless execution, on-time product delivery, installation, and payment processing.Issue Resolution : Promptly and efficiently handle all institutional customer inquiries, escalations, and post-sales coordination.Minimum requirements
Minimum experience - 5+ years (2 to 3 years in Gem and balance in other channels CSD, CPC channel)
