We are seeking a Production Support-Team Lead to oversee our production support operations in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing production support teams, ensuring high availability of applications, and effectively resolving issues in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the production support team to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of applications.
- Implement best practices for incident management, problem management, and change management.
- Coordinate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Provide training and support to team members and junior staff.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to production support processes and procedures.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on support issues.
Skills and Qualifications
10-16 years of experience in production support or a related field.Strong knowledge of application support processes and methodologies.Experience with incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).Proficient in SQL for database troubleshooting and querying.Familiarity with Linux / Unix environments and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing team dynamics.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Skills Required
