Freelance C++ Developer

Looking for a Freelance C++ Developer to join a team of rockstar developers. The candidate should have a minimum of 4+ yrs. of experience.

You will report into IIT'ans / BITS grads with 10+ years of development experience + work with F500 companies (our customers).

Company Background - We are a multinational software company that is growing at a fast pace. We have offices in Florida & New Delhi. Our clientele spreads across the US, Australia & APAC. To give you a sense of our growth rate, we've added 70+ employees in the last 6 weeks itself and expect another 125+ by the end of Q3 2025.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using C++ (Modern C++ preferred : C++11 / C++14 / C++17) .

Write efficient, high-performance, and scalable code for real-time or batch systems.

Work extensively on Linux-based development , debugging, and deployment.

Design and implement database logic, queries, triggers, and stored procedures in Oracle .

Troubleshoot application issues, perform performance tuning, and optimize memory usage.

Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams for smooth project delivery.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.

Required Skills

Strong programming experience in C++ (OOP concepts, STL, multithreading).

Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL / PL-SQL .

Proficiency with Linux environment, shell commands, and debugging tools (gdb, valgrind).

Understanding of memory management, pointers, data structures, and algorithms.

Experience with version control tools like Git .

Good to Have

Experience with scripting languages (Shell / Python).

Knowledge of networking concepts, IPC, or real-time systems.

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines.

Exposure to microservices or distributed systems.
