We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic KYC / AML Assistant Vice President to lead our Investor AML / CDD team. This role is a central point of coordination, responsible for day-to-day team management, complex case handling, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the private equity and hedge fund sectors, a deep understanding of AML regulations, and a proven ability to manage and develop a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Team & Operations Management :
- Act as the central point and coordinator for the Investor AML / CDD team.
- Manage your team of Investor AML / CDD specialists day-to-day, including complex query and case handling.
- Take responsibility for staffing management, training, and development .
- Manage and monitor the timing and quality of deliverables ( SLAs ).
- Leadership & Stakeholder Interaction :
- Interact directly with senior management and clients.
- Manage escalations in a timely manner, including liaising with local offices and / or clients.
- Understand current client needs and strategies while also anticipating future needs.
- Process Improvement :
- Propose and develop department-wide operational improvements in consultation with the wider Investor AML / CDD team.
About You
Experience : Extensive experience in a similar role with exposure to private equity and / or hedge funds and outsourcing.Leadership : Experience in managing a team.Knowledge : Excellent knowledge of AML Regulations , with expertise in Cayman and Singapore regulations being preferable.Skills & Attributes :Highly collaborative, innovative, and possessing excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.Strong customer relationship skills .Comprehensive knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio .Display an active interest in the financial markets, hedge fund, and private equity industries.Skills Required
