Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Artist with 3 years of professional experience to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in production design, working with both digital and print assets, ensuring all creative materials are finalized and prepared for production. You will play a key role in ensuring that designs are executed to the highest standards, meeting both creative vision and technical specifications across various mediums.

Key Responsibilities :

Asset Preparation :

Prepare, format, and finalize digital and print assets for production, ensuring all designs meet the required specifications for print, web, and other media.

File Management :

Ensure files are correctly organized, properly named, and ready for production. This includes prepping files for output, ensuring correct resolution, color space, and file formats.

Design Refinement :

Assist designers in refining and revising designs based on feedback, ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to brand standards.

Proofing & Quality Control :

Review designs for quality, consistency, and technical issues before final output. Perform detailed proofing to check for errors in layout, typography, color, and resolution.

Collaboration with Teams :

Work closely with designers, art directors, and production teams to ensure designs are executed properly and adhere to project timelines.

Pre-Press & Print Production :

Prepare files for printing, ensuring they meet the technical requirements for various print processes (e.G., CMYK color mode, bleed, trim marks, etc.).

Web & Digital Assets :

Prepare digital assets (banners, social media posts, email templates, etc.) for web use, optimizing files for various platforms while ensuring the highest quality.

Maintaining Brand Consistency :

Ensure that all production work adheres to the brand guidelines and creative vision, while maintaining consistency across various projects.

Asset Delivery :

Deliver finalized production files to print vendors, developers, or clients as required, ensuring smooth hand-off and adherence to deadlines.

Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

3 years of professional experience in a production artist or graphic design role, with a portfolio that showcases your work in both print and digital mediums.

Design Software Proficiency :

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, for producing and editing design assets.

Attention to Detail :

Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when it comes to ensuring design accuracy, color consistency, and file formatting.

File Preparation & Production Knowledge :

Strong understanding of file preparation for both print (CMYK, bleed, resolution) and digital (RGB, resolution, file optimization) platforms.

Typography & Layout :

Strong knowledge of typography and layout principles, ensuring the correct application of design standards across different formats.

Time Management & Organization :

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Collaboration :

Ability to work effectively within a team, receiving and incorporating feedback, while also contributing to team success.

Problem Solving :

Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve production issues related to file formats, colors, resolution, and output.

Required Application Experience :

Adobe Creative Suite :

Extensive experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for designing and preparing files for production.

Pre-Press & Print Production :

Familiarity with preparing files for print production, including working with print vendors and understanding print specifications (e.G., bleeds, resolution, color modes).

Digital Asset Preparation :

Experience preparing web and digital assets for online platforms, ensuring proper optimization for various devices and file sizes.

File Management & Organization :

Experience in managing digital assets, organizing files, and ensuring proper delivery of production-ready materials.

Proofing & Quality Control :

Experience in proofing designs for accuracy and quality, ensuring that final assets are error-free and meet the required specifications.

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree :

A degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Web & Digital Design Knowledge :

Basic understanding of web design principles, including knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design is a plus.

Print Production Software :

Experience with print production software like Adobe Acrobat or other pre-press tools is a plus.

Animation or Motion Design :

Basic knowledge of motion design or animation for digital assets is a plus, using software like After Effects.
