We are seeking a
Senior Software Engineering Recruiter
on a
short-term contract
to help us rapidly scale our
Bangalore R&D Lab
This role is ideal for someone who is
immediately available
, experienced in hiring software development teams, and comfortable working in a
fast-paced startup environment
HR management experience is a strong plus
, as you may also support basic HR operations during team setup (onboarding, contracts, compliance).
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
Lead
end-to-end hiring
for technical roles : Full Stack Engineers, Mobile / GIS Engineers, QA & Automation, DevOps, UI / UX, Senior Product & Project Managers, and technical leads.
Source directly
via LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and networks, while managing
agency partnerships
for niche or hard-to-fill positions.
Conduct
screenings, interviews, and candidate validations
for skills, experience, and culture fit.
Define job descriptions and scorecards with the CTO and hiring managers.
Manage candidate pipelines, offers, and onboarding to ensure
timely closures
HR Support (Plus)
Assist with
onboarding, contracts, and HR documentation
for new hires.
Ensure compliance with local employment regulations.
Support employee induction and orientation.
Requirements (Must-Have)
Available to join immediately
in Bangalore.
10+ years of recruitment experience with 5 + years focused on software engineering / tech hiring
Proven ability to recruit across
engineering, DevOps, QA, design, and product roles
in the Bangalore market.
Strong
network and sourcing skills
; experience balancing direct sourcing with agency-driven recruitment.
Excellent communication skills (English, oral & written).
Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple openings under tight timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
HR management / generalist experience (onboarding, compliance, employee records).
Prior experience helping set up or scale
startup R&D labs
in India.
Familiarity with SaaS, multi-tenant cloud, or AI-driven product companies.
Engagement Details
Contract Duration :
3 months (extendable).
Work Mode : On-site, Bangalore.
