CTC : 15-30 LPA depending on experience.

Role Overview

Helius Work is looking for an expert-level Backend Python Engineer to join our on-site engineering team in InfoCity, Gandhinagar .

This role demands strong hands-on experience in designing modular SDK architectures, building scalable APIs, and integrating open-source and M&A platforms.

You’ll be a key contributor in architecting backend systems that power mission-critical platforms with full ownership, autonomy, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect & develop high-performance backend systems using Python (FastAPI, Django, or Flask).
  • Design componentized SDK architectures following SOLID principles for reusability and maintainability.
  • Create and manage versioned APIs , SDKs, and modular backend packages.
  • Integrate with open-source systems , healthcare data platforms, and M&A ecosystems .
  • Lead end-to-end delivery from architecture & coding to deployment & maintenance.
  • Ensure data privacy, compliance, and scalability , particularly for healthcare-grade solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver world-class results.
  • Act as a technical owner make architectural decisions and drive innovation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Python backend development.
  • Expertise in SOLID principles , design patterns , and modular SDK architecture .
  • Proven experience with API versioning, packaging, and documentation .
  • Strong knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and ORMs .
  • Hands-on with Docker , CI / CD , and cloud services (AWS / Azure / GCP) .
  • Good understanding of secure coding and data privacy best practices.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions, and deliver under deadlines.
  • Strong security & data compliance mindset, ideally with experience in HealthTech or regulated domains .
  • Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

    • We Would Appreciate

  • Experience in HealthTech , digital healthcare , or data-driven platforms .
  • Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, GDPR, or HIPAA compliance frameworks.
  • Exposure to Blockchain / Crypto or AI / ML-based backend systems .
  • Experience with Microservices , Event-driven architecture , or Message Queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
