Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in Dehradun. The Senior Accountant will manage financial records, prepare detailed budget plans and reports, and oversee compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Other responsibilities include reconciling accounts, analysing financial data for informed decision-making, overseeing tax filings, and supporting the development of the company's financial strategies , along with inventory management. The role requires collaboration with other departments to ensure financial accuracy, inventory accuracy and alignment with the organisation's goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and account reconciliation
• Experience with budgeting, planning, and financial reporting
• Knowledge of tax laws, compliance regulations, and accounting standards
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA or CPA qualification is a plus)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience in the luxury or retail industry is an advantage
