Lead Engineer - Solana Blockchain

About the Job

We are looking for a Lead Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in Solana blockchain development. The role involves designing, building, and optimising high-performance dApps, smart contracts, and on-chain programs on Solana. You will lead technical decision-making, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with product teams to deliver scalable blockchain solutions.

Core Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality on-chain and off-chain software systems

Write efficient, maintainable, and testable code following best practices

Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards

Lead technical discussions, provide mentorship, and set the development roadmap for blockchain projects.

Document technical designs, APIs and user guides in a clear and developer-friendly manner

Troubleshoot and debug issues across on-chain and off-chain components.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects.

Required Skills

Proficient in Rust language (must have good development experience in Rust and its ecosystem)

Minimum 3+ years of experience in Rust development, with at least 2+ years of experience in Solana blockchain

Ability to guide the development team in writing performant and optimized code in Rust

Hands-on experience building fullstack Solana Web3 applications, from smart contracts to frontend dApps.

Proficiency in writing, testing, and deploying Solana smart contracts.

Strong understanding of various Token Standards (fungible, non-fungible, etc.)

Experience with DeFi protocols : DEX aggregators, AMMs, order books, and liquidity management.

R&D skills with the ability to prototype quickly and deliver under tight deadlines.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex blockchain concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

B.Tech / M.Tech, CS / IT or related field

2+yrs of relevant exp. with Solana blockchain

Excellent Communication skills
