Commerce tools Architect

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commerce Tools Architect with strong expertise in designing, implementing, and delivering enterprise-level e-commerce or marketplace solutions using Commercetools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining solution architecture, leading technical implementations, and guiding teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Define and design solution architecture for enterprise e-commerce / marketplace platforms using Commercetools
• Architect, implement, and deliver large-scale projects / programs
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs
• Provide technical recommendations and implementation strategies
• Lead and oversee end-to-end solution delivery within scope, timelines, and budget
• Manage client demonstrations, POCs, and technical presentations
• Integrate Commercetools with third-party systems, tools, and services
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to development teams
• Drive Agile-based project execution and best practices
• Ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to standards

Required Skills

10+ years of development experience

Hands-on experience with Commercetools products

Strong understanding of Commercetools architecture, design, and configurations

Experience leading and delivering enterprise-scale projects

Strong integration experience with third-party services

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
