Job descriptionConduct literature scans and prepare concise evidence memos. Design surveys / interview guides and support remote data collection. Analyze findings and draft policy briefs & research notes. Map sectoral use-cases (law, education, health, gig work, public services). Maintain research ethics and tidy documentation. Background / interest in public policy, economics, sociology, law, education, AI & society. Strong writing and synthesis skills with Google Docs / Sheets proficiency. Bonus : R / Python or STATA, fieldwork experience, and proficiency in an Indian language. Curiosity about equity with perspectives from marginalized communities valued. Certificate of Contribution and Letter of Recommendation possible. Named credit and authorship on select outputs meeting contribution thresholds. Mentorship, weekly check-ins, and access to research templates / toolkits.
