Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake , Azure Data Services , and PySpark . The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize large-scale data pipelines and analytics solutions on the Azure cloud platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF) , PySpark , and Snowflake .
- Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and data marts in Snowflake .
- Optimize SQL queries and Snowflake performance for efficient data processing.
- Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources into a unified data platform.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to define data requirements.
- Implement data quality, data governance, and security best practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiency.
- Automate data ingestion and transformation processes using Azure services.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies in cloud data engineering and analytics.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.5–16 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering or related roles.Strong expertise in Snowflake (data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning).Solid experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) , Azure Databricks , and Azure Synapse .Proficient in PySpark and Python for data transformation.Strong SQL programming and data analysis skills.Experience with CI / CD pipelines and version control (e.G., Git, Azure DevOps).Familiarity with data governance , security , and compliance in Azure.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Nice to Have :
Experience with Power BI , Azure Synapse Analytics , or Data Lake Storage (ADLS) .Exposure to DevOps , Terraform , or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) .Knowledge of machine learning pipelines or real-time data processing .Snowflake or Azure certifications.
