Job description

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack .Net Developer with Strong AWS Cloud expertise to join our team, focusing on a critical application cloud migration and modernization project. This role requires full stack capability and deep hands-on experience in the .NET framework and AWS cloud-based architectures. The developer will be instrumental in the end-to-end development, migration, and deployment of scalable, resilient applications, and must be available for significant time overlap with EST business hours (until at least noon EST) to collaborate effectively with the core team.

Core Responsibilities :

Cloud Migration and Modernization :

  • Provide expert hands-on support for the ongoing migration of critical applications to AWS, replacing legacy systems, including those built on Java.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and secure .NET-based applications (C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework) as part of the modernization effort.
  • Translate business requirements into robust technical designs and execute the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

AWS and DevOps Implementation :

  • Implement and manage core AWS cloud infrastructure components relevant to the application architecture (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS / Aurora, ECS / EKS, SQS / SNS).
  • Build, maintain, and enhance automated CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline / CodeBuild) to facilitate fast, reliable, and secure application delivery.
  • Contribute significantly to DevOps automation efforts, including environment setup, infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation, and configuration management in AWS.
  • Implement and configure comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure high performance and reliability of deployed services.

    • Code Quality and Support :

  • Participate actively in technical design sessions and rigorous code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and rapidly resolve critical production issues across the full stack (front-end, back-end, and cloud infrastructure).
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive and accurate technical documentation for application architecture, deployment processes, and operational procedures.

    • Required Skills & Experience :

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services related to compute, storage, networking, and security.
  • Expertise in full stack application development utilizing the .NET framework (C#, ASP.NET Core or Framework).
  • Proven capability in designing and maintaining secure RESTful APIs and microservices in a cloud environment.
  • Proficient with modern front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, React / Angular / Vue) for developing user interfaces.
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or AWS RDS / Aurora) and advanced SQL query optimization.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining CI / CD pipelines and using version control systems like Git.
  • Must be able to maintain required time overlap with EST hours until at least noon EST for critical team collaboration and support.

    • Preferred Skills & Experience :

  • Direct, verifiable experience participating in or leading a cloud migration from on-premises or legacy systems to AWS.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes / EKS).
  • Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate.
  • Experience supporting high-traffic, high-availability, mission-critical applications.
