Job Description

• Primary Skills (L2 level of Expertise)
• Must be a Networking Subject Matter Expert
• Network engineers to provide 24x7 network support globally.
• Day to day operational functions related to Cisco routers, switches, Aruba wireless, load balancers, WAN Optimization Devices, Firewalls and DNS Management
• Technically guide the team to troubleshoot and close the issues.
• Understand and monitor the SLAs and drive the team to close all the issues as per the agreed SLA.
• Participate in Major Incident Management discussion and provide support and guidance to close the P1 / P2 issues as per the SLA
• Prepare Root Cause Analysis plan along with the team as per the requirement.
• Participate in advance technical discussions with customer when required and provide inputs for design / architecture / existing operational issues.
• As a team contribute to Service Improvement plans and motivate the team to create more SIPs
• Monitor the status of the SOPs, KEDBs and encourage the team to update them regularly.
• Monitor the status of the CMDB (Asset Inventory) and encourage the team to update them regularly.
• Proactive health, capacity, failover planning, lifecycle management, lab testing, and obsolescence
• Experience with 802.1x configuration and troubleshooting.
• Must have experience implementing and troubleshooting HPE Aruba networking equipment, protocols, and features WLAN / LAN / WAN engineering and implementation
• Must be able to support break-fix SDWAN, Cisco, Load balancer ,Aruba Controllers, Access-Points, and Unified Access solutions.
• At least 3 of the following Routing protocols : EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IPv4, IPv6
• Experience Confidence working on live customer production networks
• 5 years hands-on experience with supporting Aruba wireless controllers ,Access Points, Load balancer, Infoblox and SDWAN
• 5 years hands-on experience with supporting Aruba
• 5 years' experience with network operations or related work
• 5 years working experience with Cisco switches, routers.
• 5 years working experience with Load balancer F5 and AVI.
• Provision Client / RAPs
• Troubleshoot / fix wireless connectivity issues
• Troubleshoot problems with Guest Wi-Fi
• Execute scheduled changes on Aruba OS 8.X platform
• Execute scheduled changes on ClearPass policy manager
• Fetch reports from Aruba Airwave and ClearPass Insight
• Test bug-fixes in a lab environment
• Analyse packet captures (wired and wireless).
• management in the core network, specifically focused on the aforesaid technologies.
