Teacher of Physics

About the Role We are seeking a passionate and innovative Physics Teacher to join our team at AeroBAY. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in teaching the IB Curriculum for Grades 8–10 and a strong interest in integrating STEAM-based learning into classroom teaching. The teacher will also play a key role in delivering and embedding the AeroBAY STEAM Programme , ensuring students gain both academic excellence and practical exposure to science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

Key Responsibilities Teach IB Physics curriculum to students of Grades 8, 9, and 10.

Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that integrate AeroBAY STEAM Programme modules.

Foster inquiry-based and experiential learning aligned with IB pedagogy .

Create an interactive and supportive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and curiosity.

Assess and monitor student progress through tests, assignments, and projects.

Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary projects and hands-on learning experiences.

Provide regular feedback to students and parents on academic performance and development.

Stay updated with current educational methodologies, IB standards, and STEAM best practices.

Participate in school events, workshops, and teacher training programs.

Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Physics, Education, or related field .

Minimum 3–4 years of teaching experience (preferably in IB schools).

IB-trained or experienced teacher strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of IB MYP / DP Physics curriculum (Grades 8–10 level).

Experience in implementing STEAM-based teaching methodologies .

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Ability to inspire and motivate students through innovative and practical learning.

Collaborative mindset and openness to integrating new teaching tools and technologies.

Compensation & Benefits Monthly Allowance / Salary : ₹50,000 (fixed).

Terms of Employment The selected candidate will be required to serve a minimum of 1 year with AeroBAY.
