Role Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Vendor Development & Negotiation Manager who has worked with commercial interior fit-out contracting companies in Bangalore.
The ideal candidate will handle vendor sourcing, rate negotiations, and subcontractor finalization for all major interior work categories — ensuring timely delivery, cost savings, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors & subcontractors across all interior trades — carpentry, gypsum, painting, flooring, electrical, HVAC, glass, aluminum, and soft furnishing etc.
- Float enquiries, prepare rate comparison (L1 / L2 / L3), and negotiate best rates & terms.
- Continuously benchmark market rates and update internal rate master sheets.
- Coordinate with QS, billing, and project teams for vendor finalization and work orders.
- Verify and monitor vendor documentation, billing, and payment certification.
- Maintain a strong vendor database with trade-wise performance tracking.
- Achieve defined cost-saving targets through effective negotiation and vendor management.
Requirements
Education : Diploma / Graduate.Experience : 3–10 years of experience in commercial interior fit-out contracting companies in Bangalore.Strong understanding of BOQ items, site-level rates, and billing procedures.Proven track record in vendor sourcing, negotiation, and contract finalization.Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and AutoCAD reading.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
