Role Description

This is a remote, contract-based role for a Multi-Cloud Network & Security Engineer. The responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining secure multi-cloud networks. The engineer will configure and troubleshoot network security policies, ensure optimal performance, and address issues in hybrid cloud environments. Collaborating with teams to implement best practices for network security and compliance is also a critical aspect of the role.

Qualifications

• Expertise in cloud networking technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with network security practices, such as firewall configuration, VPNs, IDS / IPS, and encryption
• Understanding of hybrid cloud environments, including connectivity and architecture
• Proficiency in network protocols, load balancers, and troubleshooting network performance
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with compliance standards like GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC 2 is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, or equivalent are advantageous
