We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser for Hotels category . This role involves developing and implementing online merchandising strategies to enhance the customer experience and drive sales on digital platforms. The person in this role will be crucial in shaping the aesthetic and functionality of the online storefront, ensuring products are presented engagingly and accessibly.
Key Responsibilities :
Research & Selection
- Develop and execute digital visual merchandising strategies for Hotels category aligned with brand guidelines, marketing campaigns, and business objectives
- Continuously scout and research the best hotels across different geographies and categories (Luxury, Business, Budget etc.)
- Identify high-demand, unique, and high-value hotels that align with customer preferences and travel trends
- Monitor competitor platforms to ensure Scapia’s hotel portfolio remains differentiated and compelling
Curation & merchandising
Curate hotel collections / themes (e.g., “Weekend Getaways”, “Family-Friendly Stays”, “Luxury Escapes”, Festive ) for in-app visibilityAnalyze performance data, such as conversion and click-through rates, to iterate and refine strategiesCollaborate with Category, Growth, Design, and product development teamsWhat you'll need :
A bachelor's degree in Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field is preferredProven experience in online visual merchandising, preferably in Retail or Travel is a plusStrong creative, analytical, and communication skills, proficiency in design software and CMS, and an understanding of e-commerce trends and UX principlesHigh ownership mindset, ability to hustle, and a bias for actionExcellent stakeholder management – internal and external
