Job descriptionProficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Axure, and Webflow Strong understanding of user research, information architecture, wireframing, and usability testing Working knowledge of HTML / CSS, responsive design, and basic front-end frameworks Familiarity with interaction design for web, mobile, and emerging interfaces Ability to manage teams, coordinate cross-functional activities, and mentor students effectively Master’s degree in Interaction Design, Communication Design, HCI, or related field (Preferred). 2+ years of relevant academic / industry experience in UX / UI and interaction design Strong portfolio showcasing UX processes, UI systems, and interactive prototypes Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Job Description :
K.R. Mangalam University is seeking a dynamic and experienced Coordinator – UX / UI and Interaction Design to lead and manage the B.Des. program in UX / UI and Interaction Design. The role demands a strong understanding of user-centered design, interaction principles, and hands-on proficiency in industry-standard software and prototyping tools. The candidate will be responsible for academic leadership, curriculum development, and mentoring a team of faculty and students to meet industry-relevant learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead academic planning, curriculum alignment, and student engagement activities
- Teach core courses in UX research, UI design, interaction design, and prototyping
- Guide students in real-world projects, internships, and portfolio development
- Integrate software training into design pedagogy to meet current industry demands
- Foster collaborations with industry partners and organize guest lectures / workshops
- Support faculty development and academic operations of the program
