About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable AWS infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS core services, automation tools, and DevOps practices to ensure secure, efficient, and cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, deploy, and manage applications and services on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS / EKS, etc.).
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation .
  • Manage and optimize networking, storage, and compute resources for cost and performance.
  • Configure and maintain CI / CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting via CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.
  • Ensure cloud infrastructure meets security, compliance, and scalability requirements.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis for incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate deployment and improve system reliability.

Required skills & Experience :

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS infrastructure .
  • Strong understanding of AWS services : EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, Route 53, and EKS / ECS.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in AWS environments.
  • Proficiency in Linux / Unix administration and network configuration .
  • Knowledge of CI / CD and automation tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy).
  • Scripting ability in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus).
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and IAM best practices.
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
  • Experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure automation.
  • Exposure to cost optimization and performance tuning within AWS.
