[Urgent Search] Oracle QA Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with expertise in testing finance modules such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing test plans, validating business processes, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of Oracle EBS Finance solutions. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver high-quality ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Strategy

Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Oracle EBS Finance modules.

Define functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios.

Test Execution & Defect Management

Execute manual and / or automated test cases for Oracle EBS AP, AR, and GL processes.

Log, track, and manage defects using standard tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Oracle Application Testing Suite).

Retest and verify fixes for reported issues.

Functional Process Validation

Validate financial transactions including invoice creation, payments, journal entries and reconciliations activities.

Test integration points between Finance and other EBS modules such as Order Management (OM), Purchasing (PO) and Inventory.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain clear test documentation, including test evidence, execution results, and defect logs.

Provide regular updates on testing progress, defect status, and risks.

Tools & Methodologies

Utilize Oracle testing tools, ERP testing frameworks, or automation solutions where applicable.

Contribute to process improvements in QA methodologies and testing efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Experience :

Minimum 3–5 years of QA experience with Oracle EBS Finance modules.

Strong understanding of AP, AR, and GL business processes.

Experience with integration testing across Oracle EBS modules.

Skills :

Ability to write detailed test cases, scripts, and documentation.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.

Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.

Oracle Finance certification (preferred but not required).
