We are seeking ED Coders to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding emergency department medical records while ensuring compliance with coding regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain efficient and reusable code for various medical coding tasks.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate coding practices.
Stay updated on the latest coding guidelines and regulations.
Review and analyze medical records for appropriate coding assignments.
Participate in training and development sessions to enhance coding skills.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or a related field.

Certification in medical coding (CPC, CCS, or equivalent) is preferred.

Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and coding software.
