Job Description – Assistant Manager- Affiliate & Retention Marketing
Role Overview
We are seeking a data-driven and execution-focused Performance Marketing Manager to lead affiliate marketing, CRM planning, Shopify integrations and lifecycle marketing initiatives. This role will own end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of affiliate campaigns, drive conversion and loyalty initiatives, and scale D2C centric marketing programs.
The ideal candidate understands the nuances of beauty consumers, purchase cycles, and engagement triggers - and is capable of crafting meaningful customer journeys that drive engagement, repeat rate, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Affiliate Marketing
- Develop and manage affiliate marketing strategies, optimizing partner performance to meet revenue and ROI goals.
- Oversee affiliate onboarding, compliance, and payout validation processes.
- Monitor and analyze affiliate performance data to ensure efficiency and scalability.
2.D2C Martech Integrations
Ensure seamless integrations between Shopify and the mar-tech stack (CRM, analytics, automation, loyalty, and affiliate platforms).Validate that all key events (purchase, add-to-cart, page views, checkout, etc.) are firing correctly and consistently across environments (web and mobile).Audit and troubleshoot integration or data flow issues between Shopify, CRM tools, and analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, WebEngage, MoEngage, or Looker Studio).Collaborate with tech and product teams to maintain a healthy data pipeline that supports segmentation, personalization, and attribution accuracy.Identify opportunities to enhance automation and real-time tracking capabilities through app integrations and Shopify APIs.Maintain an updated map of all active Shopify apps and ensure their compatibility with current martech tools and business requirements.3. CRM Campaign Management & Strategy
Develop and execute the monthly CRM strategy and calendar, driving segmentation, targeting, and performance across channels.Manage Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and Push campaigns, including content coordination, brand manager reviews, UTM tagging, DLT approvals, scheduling, and reporting.Track and analyze CRM KPIs (open rate, CTR, reach, conversions, and revenue contribution).Ensure campaign performance aligns with business goals for retention, repeat rate, and engagement.Implement conversion tactics for non-converted website visitors using CRM and funnel insights.Utilize Shopify and GA4 data to extract actionable customer insights, collaborating with web / product teams to deploy segmented offers.Partner with tech teams to enhance CRM systems and implement tech-led retention improvements.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Master's degree in Marketing.3–6 years of hands-on experience in CRM, retention, or performance marketing.Proven experience in D2C or beauty eCommerce marketing environments.Proficiency with CRM tools (WebEngage, MoEngage, CleverTap, etc.) and analytics platforms (GA4, Shopify Analytics, Looker Studio).Strong understanding of segmentation, automation workflows, and customer journey mapping.Experience managing affiliate partnerships and ROI-based campaigns.Analytical mindset with comfort in data interpretation and A / B testing.Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.Familiarity with WhatsApp Business API, Push Notification systems, and loyalty platforms.Basic HTML knowledge for email customization or CRM automation.Skills Required
