Position Overview

We are looking for a strategic and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our

leadership team. In this role, you will drive SteelBazaar’s financial strategy, oversee capital

management, lead supply chain finance initiatives, and support our digital transformation

journey.

You will be a key partner to the CEO and play a critical role in scaling the business, building

investor relationships, and enhancing operational efficiency through data-driven financial

leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy & Leadership

 Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.

 Advise the CEO and executive team on financial planning, growth strategies, and

market opportunities.

 Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and reporting processes.

2. Supply Chain Finance

 Implement solutions for working capital optimization, including payment terms,

inventory financing, and supplier credit.

 Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure financial efficiency across all

operations.

3. Capital Raising & Investor Relations

 Lead debt and equity fundraising initiatives to support strategic growth.

 Manage relationships with venture capital, private equity, and financial institutions.

 Optimize the capital structure to support scalability and sustainability.

4. Risk Management & Compliance

 Establish risk management frameworks to identify and mitigate financial and

operational risks.

 Ensure compliance with taxation, audit, and regulatory requirements.

 Maintain strong internal controls and corporate governance practices.

5. Financial Modeling & Strategic Analysis

 Build and maintain robust financial models to support decision-making.

 Conduct financial evaluations of new projects, partnerships, and investments.

 Provide insights for long-term strategic planning and resource allocation.

6. Team Leadership

 Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.

 Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.

 Promote cross-functional collaboration to align finance with business operations.
