Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Database Specialist to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in database architecture, design, and development, with a proven track record of designing and implementing highly scalable, end-to-end database solutions. This role requires a professional with a deep understanding of database technologies, strong development skills, and knowledge of cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

• Database Architecture & Design : Lead the design and architecture of highly scalable and robust database systems from concept to implementation. This includes creating data models, defining schemas, and ensuring database performance and integrity.
• End-to-End Implementation : Take full ownership of the end-to-end design and implementation of database solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards.
• Development & Optimization : Perform database development tasks, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers. Optimize database performance by tuning queries, managing indexes, and identifying bottlenecks.
• Cloud Integration : Apply knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure, to design and implement cloud-native database solutions or to migrate on-premise databases to the cloud.
• Backend Development : Utilize development skills, particularly with FastAPI, to build and integrate database solutions with backend applications.
• Collaboration : Work closely with software developers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective database solutions.
