Job Purpose

The Senior Software Engineer in our team needs to identify problems with product teams and processes. Help in investigating potential causes and propose solutions / next steps. Identify process areas that require improvement. As a Senior Software Engineer, this person is also responsible for identifying best tools to use, enhance code quality using available tools and technology, mentor other team members.

What You Will Do :

• Lead in identifying problems in the existing process and discuss with product teams.
• Propose solutions / next steps.
• Bring best practices in all development processes including writing unit test cases, peer review etc.
• Plan and estimate delivery of medium-large tasks.
• Proactively inform the team when work is likely to be delayed.
• Effectively prioritize own workload and focus across many streams of work.
• Explain complex technical concepts to peers.
• Nurture empathy and no blame culture in the team.
• Mentor and guide rest of the team members as required.
• And other duties as assigned.
