About the Role
Meet Studio LLP is looking for Mechanical Designer - HVAC & Plumbing. As a member of the Meet Studio team, you will work directly with our U.S. engineers, participating fully in design reviews, engineering and design work and client meetings as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design & Documentation :
- HVAC and Plumbing design from concept to construction across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring quality and compliance are met
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Prepare and deliver high-quality drawings, construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates with senior engineering supervision
- Ensure compliance with codes and client requirements .
- Develop concept through construction documents.
- Research applicable codes / materials and prepare specifications.
- Daily modeling and drafting in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.Minimum 3–5 years of building systems design experience.Expertise in HVAC load calculations, energy modeling, and control systemsDesign experience in plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary waste and vent, stormwater, and natural gas systems.Experienced in preparation of plumbing drawings, schematics, and specifications in coordination with other disciplines.Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft OfficeStrong knowledge of mechanical and plumbing codes, interdisciplinary coordination, and construction practicesSolid understanding of local and international mechanical and plumbing system codes / standards (IECC,NFPA, ASHRAE, IPC, ASPE).Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.Ability to work independently under remote guidance from senior U.S. staff.Willingness to engage in 30 min–3 hr of evening overlap for U.S. collaboration.Hours & Commitment :
Core Hours : Monday–Friday, 10AM – 5 PM IST (on-site).Evening Collaboration : Up to two to three hours in the evening, as needed for real‑time coordination with U.S. teams.Salary :
