Technical Lead (Android)

We are looking for a skilled Technical Lead to head our Android application development team. You will oversee technical direction, drive architecture and design, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality features. The role involves hands-on coding, mentoring software engineers, collaborating with product and business teams, driving code reviews, and setting best practices for performance and quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Android mobile application development. Experience in a software product development company is a must.
• Expert Java programmer with an in-depth understanding of advanced language features. Knowledge of Kotlin is required.
• Deep understanding of MVVM architecture and UI design.
• Capable of independently designing, implementing and delivering large features with high quality.
• Proficiency with software design principles and setting coding standards.
• Comfortable with creating tests for and debugging Android applications.
• Experienced in coaching, motivating and mentoring junior team members.
• Able to create good project plans, give realistic deadlines and meet them, communicate regularly (in English) and set clear expectations.
