Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data solutions on Azure .

Implement and manage ETL / ELT processes for structured and unstructured data.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of data solutions.

Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data from multiple sources using SQL, Python, Spark, and RESTful APIs .

Optimize data models, ensure data quality, and enable analytics / BI consumption.

Troubleshoot data and system-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

7+ years of experience in Data Engineering with 3+ years of hands-on Azure data services (ADF, Databricks, Synapse, Data Lake, etc.).

Strong experience in SQL (query optimization, stored procedures, performance tuning).

Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.

Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.

Experience developing and consuming RESTful services / APIs .

Exposure to DevOps practices (CI / CD pipelines, Git, automation).

Working knowledge of JavaScript (JS) for data integration or API development is an added advantage.
