For our expanding operations in India, we are currently seeking an

Operations Manager

to oversee and optimize our supply chain, compliance, logistics coordination, and operational activities in the Indian market, ensuring alignment with global group standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end logistics operations for Ventós India (imports, inland transportation, and deliveries to customers).

Coordinate closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth order execution.

Oversee import procedures, including documentation, customs clearance, GST compliance, and product registration requirements.

Monitor stock levels in coordination with our global warehouses to ensure timely supply and fulfilment of customer orders.

Analyze delivery performance, logistics costs, and operational KPIs; propose improvements where needed.

Investigate incidents or delivery issues, ensuring proper corrective and preventive actions.

Ensure strict compliance with Indian regulatory requirements related to chemical products, imports, taxation, and safety.

Maintain accurate and updated documentation (SDS, COA, import documents, product registrations, licensing requirements, etc.).

Support HQ during audits, certifications, or regulatory updates applicable to India.

Act as the operational link between Ventós India and the global Operations team.

Work closely with the India commercial team to support customer service, delivery commitments, and planning.

Align local operational procedures with global standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Provide regular operational reports, KPIs, and market insights to headquarters.

Requirements

Education : Polytechnic or University Degree in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or similar fields.

Experience : Minimum 5 years in Supply Chain or Operations Management; experience in the chemical or F&F industry is a plus.

Strong understanding of import logistics, Indian compliance (customs, DGFT, GST), and distribution flows.

Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

ERP and MS Office proficiency (Excel, Power BI, etc.).

Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across departments.

Fluent English (written and spoken); knowledge of Hindi or other regional languages is a plus.
