Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneshwar for a Reporter specializing in Odia news. The responsibilities include covering local and state events, creating news reports, writing articles, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of news content. The Reporter will also collaborate with the editorial team to develop multimedia content for the Odisha.News platform and app.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Reporting, including gathering, verifying, and presenting news stories
• Proficiency in Writing and News Writing for clear and impactful storytelling
• Effective Communication skills for interviewing, networking, and conveying complex information
• Experience with Multimedia content creation such as video, audio, and digital storytelling
• Fluency in Odia, with strong command of grammar and language nuances
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to fast-paced environments
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in reporting or media is an advantage
