Senior Economist (Urgent)

The role would require coverage of existing countries along with respective country economists, and helping the team in initiating coverage in new countries within the region.

What we are looking for :

1. Prior experience of Macro research, country coverage or Economics is a plus

2. Must have keen interest in global financial markets and knowledge of recent developments.

3. Sound understanding of Economic concepts and statistical skills with experience on working with large amount of data.

4. Advanced Excel and good understanding of econometrics is a must.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to write research reports and comment on market developments.

6. Knowledge of database tools – Bloomberg, Macrobond, Haver, World Bank, IMF etc is a plus

Education and Experience :

Undergraduate or Advanced degree in economics / statistics with 1-3 years of relevant experience. Progress towards CFA / FRM qualification is a plus.
