About the Role
We are seeking a visionary Head of Social to steer and elevate our client’s social media presence across key platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, and emerging channels. The ideal candidate is both a strategic content architect and an inspiring community builder, capable of transforming the brand’s digital footprint into tangible audience engagement and growth.
You’ll define the overarching social strategy, grow engagement, and amplify the reach of stories, initiatives, and industry events to audiences worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, own, and scale a robust social media strategy, ensuring unified voice and identity across platforms
- Drive follower growth, engagement, reach, and conversion through data-led campaigns and content innovations
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of content creators, designers, and community managers to deliver compelling, timely social output
- Collaborate closely with marketing, editorial, and events teams to maximize the visibility of campaigns, launches, and partnerships
- Identify trends and leverage formats (reels, memes, carousels, thought-leadership posts) to deepen community connections
- Analyze social analytics to refine strategy and achieve measurable growth and ROI
- Oversee influencer and partner collaborations to enhance brand prominence
- Stay attuned to new formats, algorithms, and emerging platforms for first-mover advantage
- (Bonus) Partner with performance marketing to optimize paid initiatives for reach and engagement
Qualifications & Skills
6–10 years leading and growing social media for a fast-paced brand, startup, or media companyDemonstrated results in audience development, engagement metrics, and community scalingThorough knowledge of content formats, social storytelling, and audience dynamics (LinkedIn, Instagram, X)Strong analytical acumen and data-driven decision makingProficiency with social media management and analytics tools (Sprout, Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, etc.)Exceptional writing and visual communication skillsPassion for technology, AI, and digital mediaExperience in performance marketing or paid social campaigns (preferred).
