Chief Financial Officer

The CFO who understands and likes our world, and is a great partner to business leaders. Who will take full financial responsibility for the business division and play a key role in business planning, compliance, controls and governance. Working with other members of the Board, the CFO will support the overall strategic vision of the business division, reporting directly to and working closely with the board.

Responsible for a a large team you will oversee the finance function, ensuring adherence to all standards and policies and report in to head office.

Key responsibilities

Management of central P&L and reporting

Preparation of monthly business review reports to identify results, trends, forecast and variance to budget

Analysing key trends across the businesses, reviewing KPIs, in particular Profit Margin, new business and costs.

Supporting the annual budget process with preparation of financial reports for strategic and business planning purposes.

Oversight of the annual year end process including review of all agency accounts / balance sheets to final submission of Statutory accounts

Provide strategic support and advice to board

Monitoring and managing working capital on a monthly basis and investigating any month by month variance

Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations

Overseeing risk management and business continuity reports

Skills and experience

Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, CPA ACCA or CIMA) with a least 15 years post qualification experience

Strong Compliance

Strong focus on controls and processes and a high attention to detail

Up-to-date technical skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills – engaging with colleagues daily and presenting information clearly, particularly for non-financial users

Keen ambition to grow and develop as the business continues to expand and broaden its portfolio
