• A trusted professional with 4+ years of experience building products using PHP.
• Hold at least a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience.
• Have a strong grasp of modern programming and design principles.
• Committed to writing tested, maintainable, and high-quality code.
• Passionate about modern technologies and tools, but focused on choosing the right tools for the job rather than being tied to a specific stack.
• An excellent communicator, able to explain not just what you do, but why you do itwhether in person, over Slack, in email, or during code reviews.

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend services using PHP.

• Strong command over Core PHP and at least one modern PHP framework such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), MVC architecture, and reusable code principles.
• Experience working with MySQL or PostgreSQLincluding writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and managing schema design.
• Proficient in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and handling data formats like JSON.
