Our client, a global leader in the shipping industry, is expanding its Fleet Performance function and is seeking a Fleet Performance Operations (Hull) Specialist to join their growing team in Mumbai. Vessel Performance Operations (Hull) Specialist

Overview : As part of the Vessel Performance team, you will be primarily responsible for managing hull performance and biofouling while supporting wider fleet performance initiatives. The role is hands-on, requiring strong operational and analytical skills to ensure vessel efficiency, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective hull maintenance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor hull condition across the fleet and recommend inspections, grooming, and antifouling runs.
- Track long-stay vessels and plan timely hull actions.
- Arrange and oversee hull cleaning, inspections (UWI / C), and grooming operations to meet performance and compliance standards.
- Ensure compliance with NZ / MPI / AU biofouling regulations and maintain validity for hull loggers.
- Verify invoices against work scope and monitor vendor service quality.
- Provide operational advice to Chartering and Operations on hull cleaning availability, costs, and drydock / inspection history.
- Support legal cases by providing evidence for hull fouling disputes.
- Collaborate with fleet performance colleagues in Mumbai and Dubai on broader vessel efficiency initiatives.
Your Profile :
Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering or related field of study.Prior sailing experience as 2nd Officer or 3rd Engineer with minimum 12 months sailing experience; ORMinimum 2 years’ experience in the shipping industry, ideally with exposure to hull management, vessel performance, or technical operations.At least 3 to 5 years shore-based experience in fleet performance / technical operations with strong understanding of vessel operations, hull performance, and compliance requirements.Good coordination and communication skills to liaise with internal teams, vendors, and service providers.Our Offer :
