Job Title : Consultant Medical officer

Role : Tele medical underwriter

Work Mode : Full-Time | Work from Office / Work from Home

Locations : Thane & Hyderabad

No. of Positions : 610 (Immediate Requirement : 3 Doctors)

Key Details :

Joining Timeline : Immediate

Working Days : Monday to Saturday

Shift Timings : General Shift

Sunday Work : Only if it is the last day of the month (comp off applicable)

Qualification Criteria : BHMS / BAMS / BDS

Freshers can apply but Preference for candidates with experience in :

Telemedical underwriting

Any other Non-clinical voice processes / Tele Medicine / Tele consultation

Language Requirements : Mandatory : English & Hindi

Preferred (Add-on) : Marathi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Punjabi, Gujarati, Tamil, Odia

Compensation :   CTC 25K- 30K

Role Overview :

conducting telephonic interviews with applicants to assess their medical history, lifestyle habits, and any pre-existing health conditions. The goal is to gather accurate and complete health-related information to support risk assessment and decision-making by the insurance company. Document applicant responses accurately using underwriting software or templates, assess medical disclosures such as previous illnesses, ongoing treatments, surgeries, or medication usage, and ensure timely completion of assigned cases while meeting daily productivity and quality benchmarks. Additionally, identify and escalate high-risk cases or incomplete data to senior underwriters or medical officers for further review.

While shortlisting candidates, please ensure they have strong medical knowledge and good communication skills. Also check their basic computer skills and ability to learn the software after training. Additionally, evaluate their active listening, empathy, patience, and adaptability to different situations. Also  Please prefer candidates who are easily accessible to  Kasarvadavali, Thane West.
