Job description
Job Title : Senior ServiceNow Developer
Experience : 5+ Years
Location : Bangalore / Hyderabad
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including but not limited to :
IT Service Management (ITSM) : Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Request Management, Knowledge Management, and Service Level Management.
Configuration Management Database (CMDB) : Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB health, and data integrity.
Integrated Risk Management (IRM) : Risk Management, Policy and Compliance Management, and Audit Management.
Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, including UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Workflows, and Integrations.
Develop and maintain integrations with other systems using various methods such as REST, SOAP, and MID Server.
Perform system administration tasks, including user and group management, access control, and platform upgrades.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and other developers to ensure successful project delivery.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features and industry best practices.
Create and maintain detailed documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and user guides.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the ServiceNow platform.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
Proven experience with ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, SecOps, and IRM modules.
Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and GlideScript.
Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, etc.).
Solid understanding of ITIL principles and processes.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
