Teaching & Curriculum Development :
- Deliver lectures, workshops, and studio classes on communication design topics such as visual communication, typography, branding, user experience (UX / UI), digital media, and design strategy.
- Develop and update curricula that align with contemporary design practices and industry trends.
- Assess student work through projects, critiques, and examinations.
Research & Creative Practice :
Conduct scholarly or practice-based research in areas such as design theory, visual culture, digital media, or social impact design.Publish and exhibit creative work, papers, or case studies in recognized forums.Mentorship & Student Guidance :
Supervise student projects, dissertations, and portfolios.Mentor students in developing conceptual thinking, aesthetic judgment, and professional readiness.Institutional & Professional Engagement :
Participate in departmental planning, academic committees, and accreditation processes.Foster partnerships with industry, design studios, and community organizations for collaborative projects and internships.Contribute to outreach, workshops, and design-related events or conferences.Innovation & Leadership :
Encourage experimentation with emerging technologies, tools, and interdisciplinary design approaches.Lead initiatives to strengthen the department's academic and creative reputation.Skills Required
