We are now building the digital backbone of this ecosystem into a fully integrated, AI-powered technology infrastructure that will unify fund operations, investment workflows, portfolio monitoring, and stakeholder engagement across all Artha entities.
We are hiring a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to architect this transformation end-to-end bringing systems thinking, AI fluency, and execution rigour to the core of how Artha operates.
Role Overview
This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role. As CTO, you will serve as the architect and owner of Artha’s entire technology stack. From designing our Unified Investment Platform (UIP) to integrating AI / ML workflows, you will lead Artha’s transition from siloed processes to a secure, intelligent, and scalable digital ecosystem.
You will work directly with the Group CEO and cross-functional leaders across Investments, Finance, Legal, and Compliance. Your mandate : ensure that technology becomes a competitive advantage for how Artha deploys capital, supports founders, and scales operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Architecture & Platform Leadership
Design and implement a Unified Investment Platform (UIP) - modular, secure, and scalable across AIFs, LLPs, and Pvt. Ltd. Entities
Standardize all workflows (fund ops, capital calls, investor reports, founder updates) into structured, auditable digital processes
Future-proof Artha’s technology infrastructure to support exponential AUM growth, new fund vintages, and cross-border structures
AI, Data Science & Automation
Drive AI / ML integration to power investment research, predictive analytics, and regulatory automation
Build data ingestion pipelines from external sources (Tracxn, PitchBook, VCCEdge) into real-time dashboards for due diligence and performance
Develop and maintain a centralized Data Lake - the single source of truth across investment, compliance, and portfolio data
Codify intelligence as a service for internal teams, transforming raw data into high-leverage insights
Fund Tech, Founder Tools & Investor UX
Automate capital movement, fund accounting, and performance reporting across multiple fund structures
Build real-time investor dashboards tracking IRR, MOIC, TVPI, and fund health
Launch founder-facing tools for application workflows, KPI tracking, and document management
Eliminate operational drag by linking data sources, communications, and compliance into a seamless flow
Technology Governance, Security & Compliance
Implement a zero-trust security framework to protect investor and internal data
Ensure full alignment with SEBI, GDPR, CCPA, and evolving global compliance protocols
Build version control, backup, recovery, and disaster readiness across all systems and workflows
Cross-Functional Enablement & Tech Diligence
Partner with the investment team to conduct technical due diligence on new tech-driven deals
Evaluate startup architecture, scalability, AI-readiness, and data infrastructure as part of the deal pipeline
Support portfolio companies with tech-stack decisions, vendor evaluations, and post-investment integration
Provide digital tooling support to the Portfolio Success team to ensure smoother founder operations
Team Building & Execution
Recruit and mentor a high-performance technology team spanning engineering, data, security, and product
Manage external developers, system integrators, and platform vendors with cost control and delivery rigor
Define OKRs and metrics to track adoption, uptime, precision, and return on tech investments
Own quarterly reviews, roadmap planning, and resource allocation with the leadership team
Who You Are
10+ years in senior tech leadership roles (CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Tech) in venture capital, private equity, fintech, or SaaS
Proven ability to architect and scale enterprise-grade financial platforms
Expertise in AI / ML workflows, data lake design, API architecture, and fund compliance systems
Deep understanding of AIF structures, LP / GP reporting, capital lifecycle, and performance analytics
Strong cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory technology grounding
Comfortable managing multi-functional tech teams and interfacing with board-level stakeholders
Fast, clean executor with a long-term systems mindset and sharp attention to detail
Compensation : ₹1.50 Cr per annum
