Mid-level Full Stack Java with React - C2H (Contract Remote - FT Hybrid )

Work model : Roles start as remote contract , then move to hybrid onsite once the candidate becomes full-time (FTE).

Contract type : Initially projected as a 3-month contract-to-hire , but in practice, conversion to full-time takes longer.

We're hiring a full-stack developer (at least 5 years of experience) who enjoys learning quickly, shipping reliable features, and working across Java / Spring Boot on the backend and React.js on the frontend.

Responcibilities

Build and enhance user-facing features in React.js (Hooks, components, basic state management.
Develop REST APIs and services with Java, Spring, Spring Boot .
Work with SQL databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle) : queries, simple schemas, and data access.
Use Git / GitHub for branching, PRs, and version control.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning) and track work in Jira .
Contribute to CI / CD pipelines (exposure to Jenkins preferred).

Qualifications

5 years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs .

JavaScript (ES6+) , React.js fundamentals (Hooks, components, lifecycle, basic performance awareness).

HTML5 / CSS3 and responsive UI basics

Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
