We, at Altius, are looking for a seasoned Leader to join us as Circle O&M Head for Odisha Circle. If you are passionate about building and maintaining infrastructure that powers connectivity across India - this is your chance to make an impact!

As the Circle O&M Head, you will be responsible for :

  • Leading the O&M function in the circle by driving effective processes for O&M to meet performance standards (relating to network uptime, site infrastructure, opex cost minimization, etc.) as per the Master Sales Agreement (MSA) and Process Review Document (PRD).
  • Monitoring O&M performance (internally and as part of customer Governance Meetings) within the Circle against key metrics, analyzing deviations against targets and driving corrective action.
  • Leading new initiatives and innovations to drive efficiencies including energy saving

Key Job Responsibilities :

O&M Planning

Assist Head - Operations & Maintenance in developing the annual operating plan by providing estimates and inputs from the Field

Adhere to annual operating plan as created by the Circle Head by translating targets into action plans for the field team

Establish mechanisms to monitor key circle performance metrics including network uptime, infrastructure health etc. and to identify and mitigate risks to business

Infrastructure& Vendor Management

Oversee adherence to site infrastructure maintenance schedule and recommend quality audits

Monitor deviations from customer infrastructure requirements and the corrective action taken and ensure compliance to Master Service Agreements"

Managing strategic vendors to deliver in time, with excellent quality

Establish and maintain appropriate procedures and standards in managing the vendors especially the AMC vendors

Safety

Ensuring safety and safe working environment at office and work sites

Implementing company HSE policies and procedures throughout the organization and the contractor in sustainable manner

Ensure PTW Implementation for all O&M activity

Customer Satisfaction

Ensure uninterrupted service to customers by managing vendor performance and relationships to facilitate smooth business routine

Collect data from the customer review meetings to ensure customer approvals for key metrics are obtained and are reconciled

Budget Creation and Review

Create bottom up annual O&M budget estimates incorporating inputs from the circle teams and monitor budget utilization for the Circle

Identify deviations from annual operating plan and budget and create an action plan to reconcile differences

Review an analysis of energy consumption at the circle level, compare with budgeted targets and drive initiatives to reduce energy consumption at sites

People Management and Development

Allocate responsibilities to the members within team, supervise performance, resolve grievances, counsel and mentor team members

Lead and provide guidance to direct reports

Monitor attrition in the team and drive engagement initiatives to build morale

Ensure the timely completion of performance appraisals with quality review and inputs from Managers in order to increase the capability and morale of the team to deliver goals

A successful applicant in this role will have :

  • B.E. / B. Tech. degree
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Telecom / Infrastructure industry
  • Strong team leadership and vendor management capabilities
  • Proven track record in managing SLAs
