Job description3+ years of hands-on experience with Polarion ALM development and administration. Strong experience in XML, JavaScript, Velocity templates, and Polarion APIs. Experience integrating Polarion with tools like Jira, Git, or CI / CD systems. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ALM / PLM processes. Familiarity with test management, requirements traceability, and change control workflows. Good knowledge of software configuration management and release processes. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Experience in regulated industries such as automotive, aerospace, or medical devices. Knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, or other compliance standards. Experience with Java, Python, or other scripting languages for integration. Exposure to Siemens Teamcenter, Codebeamer, or other ALM / PLM platforms
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, configure, and maintain Polarion ALM solutions tailored to business needs.
- Customize workflows, dashboards, user interfaces, and templates within Polarion.
- Integrate Polarion with other enterprise tools (e.g., Jira, Jenkins, Git, DOORS, PLM systems) to streamline engineering processes.
- Implement traceability matrices, test management, and compliance support features in Polarion.
- Work closely with engineering and QA teams to align Polarion setups with project methodologies (Agile, V-model, etc.).
- Develop and maintain custom extensions, scripts, and APIs for enhanced functionality.
- Provide technical documentation, user training, and ongoing support to internal teams.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with Siemens support or vendors as needed for upgrades and complex issues.
