Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and administer various databases, including but not limited to SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, IBM Db2, and MongoDB.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement efficient database solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular database capacity planning and performance tuning.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Database Administrator .
  • Strong proficiency in structured query language (SQL) and hands-on experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, IBM Db2, and MongoDB.
  • Understanding and experience working with cloud platforms like AWS (Amazon Web Services) / GCP (Google Cloud)
  • In-depth knowledge of database design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with database security best practices.
  • Experience in performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified : Azure Database Administrator Associate) are a plus.
