Position - Network Engineer

Location - Mumbai

Total Experience - 10+ years

Domain / Vertical - Insurance and / or Finance

Qualifications Educational - B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA / B.E – IT or Computer Science

Certifictation - CCIP / CCIE / NSE4 / CCNP

Relevant Experience :

5 years’ experience as a Senior / Principal Network Engineer or Solution Architect.
Solid networking foundation to deploy and troubleshoot Layer 1,2, and 3 protocols as well as DNS, Proxy, load balancers, and firewalls.
5 Year’s Network Optimization services experience.
4 Years of experience in LAN and WAN technologies, including multiple network operating systems and hardware platforms such as Cisco, HP, Aruba, SDWAN and FortiGate.
Working technical experience with installing, configuring, monitoring troubleshooting and supporting network components (LAN and WAN environment) and protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF).
Broad infrastructure knowledge / experience on Enterprise systems such as Active Directory, Voice, Infrastructure systems.
Working knowledge of Azure, AWS and Cloud based systems.

Responsibilities :

Establish the networking environment by designing network Solutions as per defined Network Strategy to improve the resilience of the current Environment.

Maximize the network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting high end network problems and outages, scheduling and implementing upgrades

Collaborate and consult with other BU Architects / Owners to effectively optimize the network environment.

Investigate LAN, WAN and Firewall environments using information from multiple sources.

Securing network systems and company IT Infrastructure by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.

Support and administer firewall environments in line with IT security policy, orc.

Report network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects.

Upgrade data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases to ensure compliance.

Configure routing and switching equipment, hosted IP voice services and firewalls.

Provide remote support to on-site engineers and end users / customers during installation.

Capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centers.

Liaise with project management teams, third-line engineers and service desk engineers on a regular basis.

Lead an Automation and Innovation strategy.

Technical Mandatory Skills :

At least 5 years’ experience as a Senior / Principal Network Engineer or Solutions Architect.

Ability to automate processes using AI

Hands-on involvement in supporting P1, P2, and P3 incidents

Experience in collaborating with Product Owners to drive outcomes

Capability to provide technical leadership and ownership of solutions

Proven skills in managing and guiding teams effectively
